Timeline of disappearance
Daniel Robinson was last seen leaving his job site in Buckeye, Arizona on June 23, 2021, where he was working as a geologist. A co-worker stated he was acting strangely and left the job site abruptly in his 2017 blue-grey Jeep Renegade.
The co-worker was made aware that Robinson had not been located and was not responding to text and calls from work and family. He followed Robinson's tire tracks driving West further into the desert. Daniel's family filed a missing persons report, and police later searched 70 square miles around this area.
Daniel's father, David Robinson, relocated from the East Coast to Arizona to lead the search effort for his son.
A month later, a rancher found Daniel's Jeep rolled over on its side in a ravine on his property. Robinson’s cell phone, wallet, keys, clothes, and two cases of untouched cases of water were found with the vehicle. Daniel's clothing, everything he had on his body, was about three feet away from the vehicle in a pile.
